More classes being able to use war glaives is like introducing high elves as a playable race.
I doubt they'll open the weapon group to other classes, as they'll either run into the issue of ranged weapons up until cata (warriors need strength so they had to make strength ranged weapons), open it to agility only classes (excluding warriors since they are the only non-agility users that can use war glaives), or have to somehow introduce war glaives to pre-legion content to make up for the fact there is currently 100 (110 if you dont count artifacts) levels of content with no war glaives. Blizzard just decided to shoe horn them into demon hunters because of illidan, and even then not only is he a night elf, but his "iconic" war glaives aren't originally his, they were a pit lord's (azzinoth, hence the name) ones that he took after killing him.
Glaives have been part of elvish and trollish society since forever, they are even iconic elvish weapons in WC3 (night elves and the high/ blood elf spell breakers), and like you mentions, shadow hunters use them too. Is that a Warglaive on the Shadow Hunter? Could we be looking at proliferating that particular weapon group outside of "just DH"? What did they do with the tauren chieftain and shadow hunter? That's pretty far off from the warcraft 3 design. The Darkspear Troll Heritage armor better look a whole lot like the Shadow Hunter model's armor.
